I had no idea that Delicious was a social networking site - I thought it was a new way that CPL had organized Best Websites!!!
After reading Katie's blog, I have since created my own Delicious account and am playing around with that. It's quite amazing. It is a little challenging at this point to begin tagging and bookmarking my own content, but I can see how it would be useful - it saves all those icons on the desktop and having a lot of sites in Favorites, for instance.
I also like the appearance of Delicious through CPL when I display according to tags - I feel I can find what I'm looking for more easily.
By the way, I am still listening to Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins, but have managed to read Major Pettigrew's Last Stand in the meantime. Now I'm on to reading Little Bee by Chris Cleave.

First day on the blog
I'm used to reading blogs, but have never had one of my own. This could be fun. I am mostly curious about the Twitter exercise as I'm not really sure now it works. I would like to be up to speed on the lingo - what is "tweeting"?
I just want to let you know what I have recently read and what I'm currently reading. I've been trying to read or listen to some YA materials to broaden my horizons and I'm finding that I'm getting hooked on one series by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games Trilogy. I couldn't stop listening - in my car, in my kitchen, on my computer, while I walked the dog... I actually put aside my other holds and Book Club "must reads" to finish the first book in the trilogy, The Hunger Games. I now have the next in the series, Catching Fire, which is going to put my life on hold again. I would highly recommend these books to YA or Adult readers.
The other books I have waiting for me from the Adult collection are Major Pettigrew's Last Stand and Little Bee. I'll have to keep you posted on them once Catching Fire is finished.
Stay tuned!
